welsh advance

Historic achievement for Wales. The Dragons will participate for the first time in the final of the European Cup. Not even star Liverpool striker Ian Rush or Manchester United legend Layan Giggs have been able to help their teams break into the prestigious competition. However, Gareth Bale and his teammates lived up to it.

A year of historic achievements

Wales can safely call 2015 a landmark year. They get more than the chance to play in the final. The Dragons surpassed England in the FIFA world rankings for the first time. This obviously won't affect football itself, but the fact should please the Welsh, who will have reason to laugh at the English. Given their relationship, it will be hard to avoid.

It's important to note that football prediction experts stated before the playoffs began that there were too many changes to get Wales through to the next round. Considering the increased number of contenders in the pool and Weak opponents, the Dragons have to take advantage of that and show their best. There is no doubt that they accomplished the task.

Bell, Ramsay and others.

Wales currently have their best squad in years. Official decisions and changes aimed at developing the academy and children's football have materialized. Generations of talented players have grown up. Now Wales has stars like Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey. It is these footballers who have been the main key to success as manager Chris Coleman has built his team around them. Bale should be different, he has shown to be a true leader. Real Madrid players scored important goals at critical moments and helped the team.

Head Coach

The head coach of Wales should also be mentioned. Chris Coleman does an amazing job, especially considering that the other performers aren't as strong as Bale and Ramsey. There are plenty of fair players on the team, but players from Real Madrid and Arsenal play alongside players from Nottingham, Wolverhampton and other minor league clubs in England. Of course, his skills are not as good as those of his star teammates, so the lineup is not very balanced. Despite this, Coleman has managed to get the team to show solid teamwork, which has led to improved defensive levels. The solid defense in turn gave Bell the opportunity to create chances and ignore them, leading to several sure wins.

Participating in the European Cup is a big step forward for the Welsh team. Ian Rush and Ryan Giggs will surely be happy about that. They didn't make it to the final, but the stars did their best. Now, other descendant boys have taken their place, ready to reach even higher goals.
